INDIS is a group of chemical and ingredients distribution companies based throughout the world who work together to foster trade and share common principles and objectives. Each member brings strong local identity and expertise, while benefiting from the support of a global network. Membership is selective, with generally one company per country unless two operate in mutually exclusive areas. All members are financially sound and responsible business operators.
Group History
INDIS began in 1992 when four business friends from Belgium, Holland, Ireland, and the UK developed the idea of forming a group of independent chemical distribution companies who would help and assist each other and conduct business in an open and collaborative way. The group was first known as “The Associates,” before becoming INDIS Associates Worldwide in the late 1990s as membership expanded and the organisation took on an international identity.
